What's the best weekender toilet?

There’s nothing better than turning off your phone, disabling your email, packing the car and heading away to your weekend getaway property. It gives you a chance to relax, enjoy some quality time away with your family or significant other and get away from it all.

Many people spend a lot of time figuring out the area they want to purchase a weekender; they look at what’s close by and how long it will take to travel there from your primary residence, and given it’s a home away from home, you want to make sure that when you walk into the place, everything works and you don’t spend the first half of your relaxation time fixing things like leaking toilets or a catastrophic septic tank failure (things we’ve heard from our customers).

Weekender toilets for smaller homes

Many weekend getaway properties tend to be on the smaller side in terms of overall floor space, so having a toilet that doesn’t take up too much room is a must. We have a range of smaller composting toilets that will fit perfectly in smaller bathrooms.

Weekender toilets that don’t require much maintenance

Suppose you’re after a low-maintenance toilet option. In that case, a composting toilet is a perfect solution, as you can hook them up to solar power, and there is a minimal amount of moving parts, ensuring less maintenance and more time for relaxing.

Weekend toilets for properties without water

Suppose your weekender is in an area that has frequent water restrictions or doesn’t have town water connected. In that case, a composting toilet is a perfect solution as they help you save water and don’t require the property to be connected to town water.
